As of this month, we are no longer able to publish or update public experiences on Roblox. When attempting to publish, we are met with a verification wall requiring either a government-issued ID or a real-money purchase to proceed.
We believe this is a direct result of our Esponja Obby getting deleted around 3 months ago. At the time of its deletion, we still had enough accumulated playtime across our experiences to meet Roblox's publishing requirements — so we didn't notice the impact straight away. But 3 months later, that playtime window has expired, and without Esponja Obby still active and racking up hours, we no longer have enough playtime to qualify for public publishing without additional verification.
We want to be transparent with you: Virality Games may be going on an indefinite break from Roblox, or in the worst case, shutting down entirely. We are exploring our options, but right now things are not looking great. Roblox's new publishing requirements have effectively locked us out with no easy way back in.
We are incredibly grateful for every single person who played our games, especially Esponja Obby. None of this is the outcome we wanted. We'll keep you posted if anything changes. 💛

Design Decisions
- We went full rainbow — every stage uses a completely different colour palette
- Difficulty scales gradually from easy stages to extremely challenging final levels
- TextChatService is being used for in-game chat — works great on all platforms
What we're still working on
- Balancing the difficulty spike in later stages
- Adding more checkpoint variety
- Optimising performance for mobile players
We've removed Bob Esponja Obby from Roblox. The game used copyrighted characters that we did not have permission to use, and upon receiving a copyright concern, we took it down immediately.
We apologise to anyone who enjoyed the game. We're committed to only building original experiences — or ones we have explicit permission to create — going forward. The lessons learned here directly shaped how we approach development today.
